Sixth Wedding Anniversary!

The years have gone by so fast that I can't believe that it has already been 6 years since Sean and I we're married. Where does the time go?! I can definitely say that I love this man more today than I did when we got married. We've have grown and changed a lot together in these past 6 years. There are so many things that we have experienced and gone through during this time that just makes me love him more and more, makes me appreciate the time that we have together and makes me look forward to our future together! I especially am thankful for all of the time we have together NOW! I am so thankful that I have found the one for me and that we have been lucky enough to have created this life together and created our beautiful family together :)

now that we have 2 beautiful children, we don't take many pics of ourselves together but here are some pictures of us from over the past years <3

I'm really excited because, 1 we don't get out much (alone lol), 2 We both are really wanting seafood, and 3 it will be really nice to spend some time just us! Which I guess goes along with number 1 but you get the point, I'm ready to go out and have some fun with my husband!

Happy 6 years Bayba!!! & many many more to come <3 I love you sooo much!

Proud momma here!

On Monday morning Chloe had to go to Woodhull (her elementary school) for a Kindergarten test. The whole night before and during the morning as we got ready, she continued to tell me over and over again how she was sooo nervous! Sean and I both assured her that she would be just fine! And she was, she had a hearing and vision test than got to go play with the teachers. They said she did great!! they were VERY impressed with her vocabulary :) thats my girl!! ;) They had no concerns and said her development is great. They recommended that we keep working on her letter recognition, letter sounds and her writing. She gets mixed up sometimes and I really think that its because she thinks too hard about things and second guesses herself. Alot of times she will say the right answer and then say no its this, and gives the wrong answer. So this is all stuff that we've been doing on a regular basis and plan to continue to work on throughout the rest of the summer. I def was a proud momma after she was done and I got to talk to the teacher about how she did. She was so proud of herself too! :)

Chloe practicing her writing today :)

And practicing with her new hula-hoop!

I can't believe my little lady will be going to Kindergarten in about 9 weeks!! Ahhhh!!

Definitely can get use to this...

Some time ago I wasn't so sure about moving to Long Island. I was getting use to NC and our home there so there were many times when I thought it would be best to stay there. We owned a home, had friends, our life was there, but we both really really missed all of our friends and family from home.. and home to us was still always NY for Sean and PA for me. We decided that once Sean got out we would def move back home, and for a long time I really wanted to move back to PA. Sean and I could not come to an agreement on where to go, I wanted PA and he wanted NY. Then the more time I visited NY and the more we talked about it I liked the idea more, there are alot of things that Sean would throw out there that make living here nice and better than other options... I wont name them all, one because there are sooo many... and two I'll get to the point...haha

a big one for me that makes living here really nice, is the BEACH! I love the beach, use to go as a kid to Wildwood, NJ. When my dad and mom were still together and the craziness in my family hadn't occurred yet, we would take a family vacation there every year. I remembered how much fun we always had and always missed the family vacation part of it as I got older but still loved going no matter when it was and who I was with I loved it.
Here the beach takes us like 5-10 mins to get there. It's right down the road and the only way it takes a little longer is if there are a ton of people heading down there. Up until now I've always had to drive a few hours from where I lived to get to the beach, spent the entire day there and then had to drive hours back home or had to atleast spend the night to make the trip worth it.

This week we went Monday and Wednesday and plan on going Friday and maybe over the weekend too. We stayed about 2 hours each time and it was great, we could go, hang out, not get too hot or burnt to a crisp and could drive right down the street and we were home.  It may sound silly to some that have always lived here or always lived close to the beach, but for this beach lover that has had to drive to a different state just to see soak up the sun on the beach and sit by the ocean, its a big deal lol.

My kids LOVE the beach too! So I am very happy that we are able to take them so often. Chloe loves jumping in the water and having the waves splash up on here and I couldn't believe it but Liam does too!! He absolutely loves the water and once you get him in he usually doesn't want out.

Liam's Favs!

Balls and Hat are Liam's 2 favorite things! Favorite things to have and the things that he says most often other than momma and uhhh-ohhh!

Since he was a baby he's been wearing a baseball hat and I guess I've gotten him so used to it by starting to put it on at 2 weeks old that now he always wants his hat and each time he sees it he yells for it. There's a thing with hooks hung by the front door, his hat usually gets hung there if its not hung in his room with the others and he will yell "haaa, haaa, haaa" until someone helps him get it down.

reaching for it

yelling for it and for help

and he's got it

"allllll" = Ball is the other word we hear mostly all day long. He loves chasing after balls and if something looks like a ball he wants that too. We got a 3lb box of clementine's the other day and since then he constantly wants it. At first it was because it looked like a ball but now he loves the taste too :)

Liam with his new green ball, wearing his hat of course

silly boy :)
