St Patrick's Day!

Last year on St Patrick's Day I was pregnant and was hoping that my little irish boy would arrive but he waited a few days later to make his debut into the world! Even though he wasn't born on St Patty's day, with the name Liam Patrick Fennessey, I have called him my little irish boy since the day he was born :) and this year he got to have his first St Patrick's Day! Which is also his last "first" holiday. Amazing how fast a whole year goes by. My baby is 1 now and I am amazed by him and Chloe each and every day!

Beautiful day at the park

The weather has been beautiful, so yesterday we met Ginger, Lillian and Thomas at the park! We had a great time :) The girls played together, running all over, took some time on the swings, then Liam and Thomas took turns on the baby swing. Liam was being Mr Adventurous and walking all over the place, I couldn't believe how much be was doing this time. He was happy to see his friend Thomas! and we look forward to tomorrow when they can play while the girls are in dance class. It's always a nice time when we get to spend time together! :)

Myrtle Beach!

The year that Sean and I got married, his Aunt Joanie and his Uncle Harvey moved down to Myrtle Beach. We've been down there a few times but its been almost a year since we last went down. Liam was only 2 weeks old. They drove up here for Liam's baptism and we talked about visiting with them one more time before our move to NY! So we went down on Saturday morning and came back Sunday evening. It was alot of fun and we are going to miss being able to visit with them so easily, once we move. We will definitely visit again!

Saturday was cooler than Sunday so we decided instead of the beach on Saturday we would go to Broadway Beach, it has lots of shopping and cool stuff, there's even this crazy upside down house and these crazy BIG fish! We had funnel cake and let the kids walk around, Liam hung out on daddy's shoulders for a bit but then wanted to explore and walked all  over the place. We shared a funnel cake and watched Chloe go on the tea cups!
As we were leaving we we're passing by a photo booth so, Sean, the kids and I hoped in and got our picture taken! it was pretty cool and it was nice to see me in a picture since I was behind the camera taking photos the whole time LOL

We had Corned Beef and Cabbage with Irish Sodabread for dinner, while listening to some Irish music! It was a really nice time just hanging out and relaxing. It was even better that the kids we're so well behaved.

Sunday after breakfast we headed to the beach. It was in the 70's, warm and sunny, alot of people in bathing suits but just us in tshirts and jeans. Chloe had her suit on under her clothes and eventually was just in her bathing suit. She had a blast, jumping and running through the water and waves. She is going to have so much fun this summer, being able to go to the beach so often. Liam LOVED his first real experience at the beach! He started fully clothed then made it down to his onesie and ended up soak and wet! He loved playing in the sand and then once he finally dipped his toes in the water you couldn't keep him out of it. Any time you would take him back to the blanket he would turn right back around and walk to the water!!

After the beach we went back to the house, relaxed on the back patio and the hammock, fed some sucks and the swan, had some lunch and packed up the car. We were sad to see our mini vacation had gone by so quickly but it was time to be headed back home. I can't wait to spend more time at the beach with the kids again! :)
